Nap Time

I guess the shots didn't bother him that much.

Then again, maybe he just likes sleeping like this.

(Of course it took 45 minutes of holding for him to get to this state.)

Someone Give That Kid A Baptism

Last Saturday Adam officially joined the Catholic club. We got the membership card in the mail to prove it.

Godparents and parents: Sharon, Michael, Matthew, Michelle (oh, and Adam too).

Us and Deacon Bernie, post pour.

Man, that's a lot of grandmas and grandpas.

How many times has Michael held a baby before now?*

Finally a chance to sit down and relax.

Garland sez: If you don't have anything interesting for me, I'm going to go back to bed.

The World Famous . . .

I had the day off today, so my mom and I took Adam to the San Diego Zoo for the first time. We had a pretty good trip.

I got to try out the new umbrella stroller I bought this week. Worked great.

Here are some highlights of the trip:

Here's Adam, just beginning to start fussing for his bottle.

This is a giant panda, one of the most rare and endangered animals on the planet.

This is what Adam thinks of the panda.

The First Week

Michelle went back to work this week. For the most part Adam has been a good boy about it. He has been good at grandma's house during the day and good at home with me in the afternoon.

We take a walk as soon as we get home, both for exercise and to let the dog out of the house. After that we try to rest or run some small errands.

Today however . . .

Not a happy boy.

Adventure, Eh. Excitement, Eh.

Last Saturday Legoland had a Star Wars event, celebrating the up coming release of the new movie. Since Adam's love of Star Wars is well known, we thought this would make a good day for his first Legoland trip.

Impressive napping technique. Obi-Wan has taught you well.

Sadly, he slept through most of it. Except for half an hour of feeding and a diaper change.

Go Bulldogs ! !

Those parties at Fresno State are killer, man.

Dad, I am patiently waiting for my share of those Frosted Flakes. Patiently I tell you.

Ahh, my just rewards.
